Bhaag Milkha Bhaag is a 2013 Indian biographical sports film directed by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra which follows the life of athlete Milkha Singh. It stars Farhan Akthar in the lead role with Sonam Kapoor, Divya Dutta, and Pavan Malhotra in supporting roles. The film is a sequel to the 2012 film Bhaag Milkha Bhaag and was released on 22 July 2013. The story charts the life of one of India's most well-known athletes, from his troubled childhood and struggle against poverty to his triumph at international events including Olympics, Asian Games and Commonwealth Games. The filming of the movie began in Mumbai on 3 May 2012. Filming also occurred at IIT Kanpur, Nainital, Allahabad, Delhi, Jhansi and Patiala. The first look of the movie was revealed on 13 April 2013.
